The FX 700, FX 1000, and FX 1600 give users a trio of dynamic options based on customer part size and throughput requirements. These models are able to process a variety of materials. A linear actuator on the hopper of the FX 1600 and a gas spring-assisted hopper on the FX 100 facilitates easy access.

Safety Your Team Can Count On
At Cumberland, we believe that safety is a top priority. That’s why we’re committed to offering granulator machines that contain industry-leading safety measures for your facility. One way we do this is by ensuring that users cannot access the chamber while the rotor is spinning. A category 3 safety circuit includes two sets of redundant interlock contacts, short circuit protection, and safety rated components. Additionally, the hopper and discharge bins have solenoid activated locks, and this means access to the chamber is fully secured during operation.
Needless to say, sound suppression is also a crucial component, and that’s why we feature a sound-dampened design for reduced noise levels.
Consistent regrind is also important, and it is achieved by using a rugged knife assembly with finely tuned tolerance. With a heavy duty rotor construction, the rotating knives are fixed. This allows adjustment to take place at the bed knife. It doesn’t get much easier than that!
